The United Nations emphasized the formation of an inclusive government in Afghanistan

The UN Secretary General’s representative in Afghanistan emphasized that the UN’s focus on the Afghan people should remain, and said that it is necessary to form an inclusive government in Afghanistan.

Roza Otunbaeva, the representative of the United Nations Secretary General in Afghanistan yesterday (Tuesday) at the meeting of the United Nations Security Council on the issue of Afghanistan, referring to the conflict between the Taliban and the Pakistani military at the border point of the two countries, said that the control of this group in most parts of Afghanistan decreasing.

He emphasized on the establishment of an inclusive government in Afghanistan and added that only if an inclusive government is established and health and education services for girls are restored, economic success can remain stable.

He also regretted the increase in the death penalty in Afghanistan and emphasized on dialogue to resolve these disputes and said that despite human rights concerns, most punishments in Afghanistan are carried out in public.

The representative of the UN Secretary General in Afghanistan continued to express his concern about the limited social and political space for women in this country.
