Brigade commander and security guard die in bomb attack in Afghanistan

A brigade commander and a security guard were killed in a bomb attack in Balkh province in northern Afghanistan.
In a statement made by the 209th Shahin Corps Command in the north of the country, it was reported that the bomb placed on the roadside in the town of Charbulak in Balkh was detonated while the vehicle of the 209th Shahin Corps Command’s Sixth Battalion, Second Brigade Commander Muhammed Qasım Paikar passed through the region.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
