The Taliban decide to revoke the license of some media

The Ministry of Information and Culture of the Taliban has announced that soon a decision will be made by the court regarding some media outlets in the country that, according to the ministry, are publishing against national values and interests.
Abdulhaq Hammad, acting head of the ministry, wrote in a tweet that they have sent the file of some media to the court for a decision on canceling their license and the court will decide on this issue soon.
He wrote that for a year now, complaints about the publications of these media, which are against national values and interests, have been received by the Ministry of Information and Culture.
Mr. Hamad added: “We repeatedly asked the officials of these media to the ministry and later to the commission to explain and respect the principles; But they did not pay attention to our requests. “We have sent their file to the court so that a decision can be made regarding the cancellation of their license.”
According to the Acting Ministry of Higher Education of the Taliban, the court will announce its decision on Thursday in the presence of media officials.
It should be noted that after the Taliban took control of Afghanistan, the space for the media in this country has become narrower.
