The organization for the protection of children stopped its activities in Afghanistan

The Child Protection Organization has announced that it will stop its activities in Afghanistan due to the ban on women’s work by the Taliban.
This organization wrote in a tweet: “We are forced to stop our activities in Afghanistan due to the ban on women’s work. Because the activity of women is necessary for the safe and effective continuation of services.
According to the Child Protection Organization, families are facing poverty and most of them send their children to work in dangerous environments.
The prohibition of women’s work in domestic and foreign institutions in Afghanistan by the Taliban has brought domestic and international reactions.
Two weeks ago, the International Rescue Committee (IRC) also announced that because according to the latest Taliban decree, foreign institutions cannot hire female employees, this institution will stop its activities in Afghanistan.
The IRC added that the latest Taliban decree banning Afghan women from working in national and international non-governmental organizations, after previous decrees banning women from attending universities, professional training and private institutions, will have lifelong effects on the present and future of Afghanistan.
