Heavy snowfall in Ghor led to the death of a young girl

Local officials in Ghor say that a young child has died as a result of the closure of the roads due to snowfall in this province.

Officials in Ghor province say that following heavy snowfall in Lal and Sarjangal districts of this province, the communication routes from the villages to the center of this district have been blocked.

According to them, due to the blocking of the communication routes of the mentioned villages with Lal and Sarjangal districts, a one-year-old girl died before reaching the district hospital.

Officials add that this young girl’s name is Mubarak and she was the main resident of “Dehan Sorkhak” village of Lal and Sarjangal district.

It should be mentioned that during the past few days, most of the mountainous provinces of Afghanistan have witnessed heavy snowfall, as a result of which the communication routes of some of these provinces have been blocked.
