ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack on the Taliban’s foreign ministry

Reuters, quoting Amaq news agency, reported that ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack on the Taliban’s foreign ministry.

The ISIS group claimed that dozens of people were killed and injured as a result of this incident, most of them employees of the Taliban’s foreign ministry.

According to Taliban officials in Kabul, Wednesday’s attack was the result of a suicide attack that occurred in front of the gate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Khalid Zadran, the spokesperson of Kabul Police, says that this incident happened around 4:00 PM and as a result, 5 people were killed and some were injured.

But Reuters reported that as a result of this incident, about 20 people were killed.

On Wednesday, Kabul Emergency Hospital also reported that about 40 dead and injured people were transferred to this hospital.
