A former member of the Afghan parliament was assassinated in Kabul

Taliban officials in Kabul say that Mursal Nabizadeh, a former member of parliament, was assassinated by unknown armed men in this province.
Khaled Zadran, the spokesman of Kabul Police, says that unknown armed men have shot and killed Mursal Nabizadeh, a former member of the Afghan Parliament, along with one of his bodyguards in the “Ahmed Shah Baba Mina” area of Kabul.
According to him, the brother of Mursal Nebizadeh was also wounded in this incident and efforts are underway to identify and arrest the perpetrators of this incident.
So far, no one or any group has taken responsibility for the assassination of this former member of the Afghan House of Representatives.
