A former soldier was assassinated by armed men in Uruzgan

Local sources in Uruzgan say that a soldier of the previous government was killed by armed people in this province.

These sources say that this former soldier was killed yesterday (Wednesday) in “Aruzgan Khan” district of Uruzgan province by armed men at his workplace.

Taliban officials in the Uruzgan Police Command confirmed this incident and said that this former soldier had a personal enmity and was killed by armed men riding in a car.

According to them, further investigations have been started in relation to this event.

It should be mentioned that after the fall of Ashraf Ghani’s government, dozens of former soldiers have been killed in mysterious ways in most provinces of Afghanistan.
