Officials in Balkh report the occurrence of fire in this province

The local officials of Balkh state that the fire in a shop in Mazar-e-Sharif city, the capital of the province, caused more than 400 thousand dollars in damage to the owner of this shop.

Mohammad Asif Waziri, the spokesman of the Balkh Police Command, says that this fire occurred this morning (Tuesday) in the fourth district of Mazar-e-Sharif in an electrical appliance shop.

According to him, the cause of this fire was an electrical short, and as a result, more than 400,000 dollars were damaged to the owner of the shop.

The spokesperson of Balkh police added that the fire was contained by the fire department of Balkh province.
