Central Bank of Afghanistan distributed 100 million new banknotes to commercial banks

The Central Bank of Afghanistan has announced that 100 million new banknotes have been distributed by this bank to commercial banks in Afghanistan.
The central bank said in a statement that this bank has distributed 100 million new banknotes to the country’s commercial banks and in return has collected Mandares banknotes from these banks.
This bank added that for some time now, people have been complaining about the existence of Mandars banknotes in the markets, and considering the availability of facilities, the central bank has started the process of publishing new banknotes for commercial banks.
The central bank asked the citizens of the country to try to preserve and maintain the banknotes in order to prevent them from being counterfeited.
