Salang highway was blocked to traffic

The Ministry of Public Works of the Taliban has announced that the Salang highway is blocked for traffic due to heavy snowfall.

The ministry said in a statement yesterday afternoon (Sunday) that the Salang highway was blocked for traffic due to heavy snowfall.

The Ministry of Public Works has asked passengers and motorists not to travel on this route until further notice from the Ministry.

It should be mentioned that two days ago, the Afghan Meteorological Department announced the possibility of heavy snowfall in 19 provinces of the country, and as a result of these snowfalls, the roads of several provinces have been temporarily blocked for traffic.
