Taliban whipped two women and one man in Daikundi

Local sources in Daikundi say that the Taliban have whipped two women and one man in this province on the charge of having an illicit relationship.

Sources say that on Tuesday, the Taliban whipped two women and one man in Nawamish district of Daikundi province on charges of having illicit relations in front of the people.

According to them, each of these women received 25 lashes and one of these women was sentenced to prison for 5 months, and the man who was with them received 39 lashes.

Sources add that these two women and one man were arrested last week by the Taliban for running away from home.
