The death toll from the earthquake in Turkey and Syria exceeded 23,000

According to the statistics provided by the Turkish and Syrian authorities, the number of people who died in the earthquake in both countries has exceeded 23,800.

Turkish disaster agency has announced that the number of dead as a result of the recent earthquake in this country has reached 20,318 people and 80,000 people have been injured as a result of this event.

Meanwhile, the Syrian authorities have also said that 3,513 people died as a result of the earthquake that occurred in this country.

At the moment, rescue operations for earthquake victims are ongoing in Turkey and Syria, and most countries have sent emergency aid and rescue teams to Turkey and Syria.

Two earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.8 and 7.6 on the Richter scale shook Turkey and parts of Syria on Monday last week, the center of which is said to be Turkey.

As a result of these earthquakes, hundreds of apartments have also been destroyed.
