Motaqi: ISIS has been suppressed in Afghanistan

Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Taliban says that the concern of neighboring countries about the presence of ISIS in Afghanistan is unfounded and there is no threat to other countries from this country.
Amir Khan Motaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Taliban, said at the ceremony celebrating the 26th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet forces from Afghanistan that the neighboring countries concerns about the presence of ISIS in Afghanistan are unfounded and there is no threat from this country against other countries.
He added that ISIS has been suppressed in Afghanistan and there is no danger from this country, and any country can discuss its concerns with the Islamic Emirate.
He said: “Any ISIS that has raised its head has been suppressed, and the Islamic Emirate wants commercial, diplomatic and economic relations with the world.”
Recently, Anatoly Sidorov, the head of the Joint Staff of the Collective Security Treaty, said in a news conference that about 4,000 ISIS forces have been mobilized near the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border and the number of this terrorist group is increasing.
