Taliban: Mursal Nabizadeh was killed by his bodyguard

Taliban officials say that Mursal Nabizadeh, a member of parliament of the former Afghan government, was killed by one of his bodyguards.

Khaled Zadran, the spokesman of the Kabul Police Command, wrote in a tweet that Mursal Nabizadeh was killed by one of his guards named Maliar.

According to him, the person accused of murdering Mursal Nabizadeh, who was a fugitive, was arrested by the security forces in an operation and confessed to his crime.

Mr. Zadran added that more research is going on in this field.

It should be mentioned that Mursal Nabizadeh, a member of the parliament of the previous government of Afghanistan, was killed in his home last month and his brother was also wounded in this incident.
