Germany: Taliban are responsible for the current disastrous situation in Afghanistan

The German Embassy in Afghanistan says that the Taliban, by banning women from working in international institutions, have prevented humanitarian aid from reaching the people of Afghanistan.

The embassy wrote in a tweet that the Taliban have disrupted the process of providing aid to the people of Afghanistan by banning women from working, and these bans should be lifted.

The German Embassy said: “Let’s be clear, if aid does not reach the people of Afghanistan, if people suffer from hunger, cold, and insufficient or non-existent services, this responsibility rests solely on the shoulders of the current authorities, who block national and international aid.”

This embassy called the current disastrous situation in Afghanistan the result of the Taliban leadership’s decision to ban women from working in international humanitarian organizations.
