Taliban prevented a suicide attack in Badakhshan

Local officials in Badakhshan say that the security forces have prevented a suicide attack in this province.

Moazuddin Ahmadi, head of Badakhshan’s intelligence and culture, says that the security forces killed a suicide bomber before reaching his target.

According to him, this incident happened this morning (Saturday) in the city of Faizabad, the capital of Badakhshan Province, and this suicide bomber wanted to blow himself up near the entrance gate of Kabul Bank.

The head of information and culture of Badakhshan added that as a result of this incident, no one else was injured except the suicide bomber.

So far, no one or any group has claimed responsibility for this incident, but it is worth mentioning that the ISIS group has accepted the responsibility for most of the terrorist attacks that have occurred in the provinces of Afghanistan.
