Iran: The changes in the Afghan embassy in Tehran is an internal matter related to that country

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran has announced that the handover and transformation of the Afghan Embassy in Tehran is an internal matter related to Afghanistan and the Ministry has not interfered in this matter.

The public relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran in a statement rejecting some claims made about the internal developments of the Afghan embassy in Tehran emphasized that the issue of handing over and the transformation of the Afghan embassy in Tehran is an internal matter related to Afghanistan and in no way does this ministry have anything to do with the matter.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Taliban has said in a statement that after the diplomats of the previous government left the Afghan embassy in Tehran, the new diplomatic team will be dispatched and this embassy will continue its activities.

Emphasizing that by sending a new team to the Afghan embassy in Tehran, the ministry will bring transparency, adding that the change in diplomatic personnel is an administrative matter and the legitimate right of every country.
