Tashkent hosts a meeting about Afghanistan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan has announced that this country will host the first meeting on Afghanistan today (Tuesday).

The announcement of the ministry states that in this meeting, the current situation of Afghanistan, the cooperation of regional countries in solving the current situation in this country, establishing peace and providing humanitarian aid will be discussed.

According to officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the representatives of China, Iran, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Russia and Turkmenistan will attend this meeting.

This meeting will be held without the presence of any representative of the caretaker government of the Taliban in Tashkent.
