ISIS accepted responsibility for the attack on the governor of Balkh

The ISIS group has taken responsibility for the attack on the governor of Balkh by publishing a statement in the news agency of this group.

According to Deutsche Welle, in its announcement, this group claimed responsibility for the attack on the official of Balkh province, as a result of which the governor of this province was killed, and said that a fighter of this group detonated his suicide belt in the office of the Taliban governor.

This attack took place yesterday (Thursday) in the office of the governor of Balkh province.

Asif Waziri, the spokesman of the Taliban police command in Balkh province, said that this suicide attack took place at around 9:00 am on the second floor of the governor’s office, as a result of which Moulavi Mohammad Dawood Mozmal, the governor of this province, was killed along with two civilians.
