Mujahid: Special forces conducted an operation on ISIS hideout in Balkh

Taliban officials say that the security forces of this group have carried out operations against the hideout of the ISIS group in some areas of Mazar-e-Sharif last night (Friday).
Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson of the caretaker government of the Taliban wrote in a tweet that last night (Friday) the special forces of this group carried out operations against the hideout of the ISIS group in the fifth, sixth and seventh districts of Mazar-e-Sharif city, the center of Balkh province.
According to him, as a result of this operation, a number of ISIS members were killed and some military ammunition was also obtained.
At the same time this morning (Saturday), the sources reported the occurrence of a conflict in “Dasht Shoor” area of Mazar-e-Sharif city.
It should be mentioned that after the Taliban came to power, the ISIS group has taken responsibility for several terrorist attacks in the city of Mazar-e-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province.
Recently, this group took responsibility for two terrorist attacks that occurred in the city of Mazar-e-Sharif, as a result of which the Taliban governor for Balkh and a number of journalists were killed as a result of these two separate incidents.
