Ministry of Finance: Customs duty on raw materials has been reduced by 50-70%

The Ministry of Finance of the Taliban has announced that in order to prevent the increase in the price of the customs duty on raw materials, it has been reduced by 50-70%.

The ministry wrote in a tweet that in order to prevent the increase in the prices of basic food items and keeping in mind the economic situation of the people, the customs duty on basic food items has been reduced by 50-70%.

The Ministry of Finance added that in 11 months of this year, a discount of 6 billion and 700 million Afghanis was given on the customs product of food raw materials.

At the same time, with the arrival of the month of Ramadan, people are complaining about the increase in the price of food in the provinces of Afghanistan.
