A young girl committed suicide in Daikandi

Local sources in Daikundi say that a young girl in this province hanged herself and ended her life.

Sources say that this incident happened yesterday (Tuesday) in the village of “Tagabolur” in the district of the city of Daikundi province.

Sources add that this girl’s name was Layqah and she was 17 years old.

So far, the cause of this girl’s suicide is not known, and the local authorities in Daikundi have not said anything about it.

It should be noted that during the last year and a half, the number of suicides in Afghanistan has increased unprecedentedly.
