Flooding in the northern provinces of Afghanistan led to the death of two people
Due to floods in some northern provinces of Afghanistan, at least two people have died and dozens of residential houses have been destroyed in the past few days.
These floods in the northern provinces of Afghanistan, including Faryab, Balkh, Sarpol, Parwan and Jawzjan, have killed at least two people and destroyed more than 130 acres of agricultural land and dozens of residential houses.
Local sources say that as a result of these floods, one person died in “Pul Chirag” district of Faryab province and one child died in Al-Jihad district of Sarpul province.
These floods have caused huge financial losses to the residents of Sarpol, Balkh, Faryab, Parwan and Jawzjan provinces.
It should be mentioned that in spring and summer in most parts of Afghanistan, heavy rains lead to floods.
