The Taliban announced the arrest of an ISIS member in Balkh

The General Directorate of Taliban Intelligence has announced the arrest of an ISIS person who was involved in several terrorist attacks in the city of Mazar-e-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province.
The Taliban intelligence department said that the special forces of this department have arrested a person named Ainuddin (Mohammed), son of Abdul Wakil, who was involved in several terrorist attacks in Balkh province.
The directorate added that this person was involved in the attack on Mohammad Dawood Mozmal, the governor of Balkh, the attack on the Tabian cultural center in Mazar-e-Sharif, the attack on the Shiite mosque known as “Seh Dukan”, the attack on a car carrying civilians and the attack on a religious school in the city of Aybak.
According to the Directorate of Intelligence, this Daesh member was arrested during a complex operation, and he has played an active role in terrorist attacks for the Daesh group in the northern provinces of the country.
It should be mentioned that previously, the Taliban Intelligence Directorate had announced the killing of several important members of ISIS in Balkh province during an operation.
