Ministry of Finance: More than 193 billion and 912 million Afghani were collected during the last year

Officials of the Ministry of Finance of the Taliban say that last year, this ministry collected more than 193 billion and 912 million Afghani in revenue.

Mufti Abdulmatin Saeed, the General Director of Customs, said in a news conference that during the year 1401 AH, a total of 193 billion and 912 million Afghanis were collected, which shows a 37 percent increase compared to last year.

According to him, during the year 1401 AH, the target set for the General Directorate of Customs was 96 billion afghanis, and this department has collected 111.53 billion afghanis of revenue, which is higher than the target.

Officials of the Ministry of Finance say that 50 to 70 percent of the price and customs products of 326 items of raw materials and food items have been discounted, so that with this measure, the price of materials in the markets will be controlled, people will have access to them, and the necessary facilities will be provided for traders.
