Railway Department: More than one billion and 188 million Afghani have been collected by this department

Officials of the Taliban Railway Department say that a total of 3 billion 188 million 800 thousand 132 Afghani of revenue has been collected through the management of the transfer process in the country.

Alhaji Mulla Bakht al-Rahman Sharafat, the head of the railway department, said in a news conference that during the year 1401 AH, a total of 4 million 673 thousand 929 metric tons of transfers were made through the ports of Hayratan, Aqeena and Torghandi, which is 36 percent more than last year.

According to the head of this department, during the last year, more than 4 million and 600 thousand tons were exported and imported from the ports of Afghanistan through the railway line.

According to officials, during the year 1401 AH, a total of 12,492 metric tons of exports, 253,603 metric tons of transit, and 4,407,834 metric tons of imports were made from the country’s ports, most of which are dry and fresh fruits, edibles, and minerals.
