Karzai met with the Turkish ambassador in Kabul

Hamid Karzai, the former president of Afghanistan, met with Jihad Erginai, the Turkish ambassador in Kabul.

The former president of Afghanistan wrote in a series of tweets that he appreciated Turkey’s assistance to Afghanistan and the provision of scholarships to Afghan students during this visit, and expressed hope for the continuation of these assistance.

According to Mr. Karzai, in this meeting, he talked with the Turkish ambassador about a meeting about Afghanistan that will be held in Doha and about its results.

In this meeting, both sides emphasized on reopening schools and universities for girls.
