The Taliban are building a settlement for cave dwellers in Bamyan

Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the caretaker government of the Taliban, says that a settlement will be built for the cave dwellers in Bamyan province.

He wrote in a tweet that based on the efforts of the officials of the Islamic Emirate for the cave dwellers in Bamyan province, the construction of a settlement has started.

The Taliban spokesperson added that cave dwellers in this province have been homeless for years and have been living in caves.

According to Mr. Mujahid, the governor of Bamiyan, Maulvi Abdullah Sarhadi, and officials of the United Nations Commissioner for Refugees attended the opening ceremony of this settlement.
