Trade ministers of Taliban and Pakistan met in Islamabad

The Afghan Embassy in Islamabad has announced that Nuruddin Azizi, Acting Minister of Industry and Trade of the Islamic Emirate, met with his Pakistani counterpart, Syed Naveed Qamar.

The Afghan Embassy in Islamabad wrote in a tweet that the two sides discussed the expansion of trade relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan in this meeting.

In this meeting, the trade ministers of the two countries also discussed the solution to the existing problems in the way of trade between the two countries.

It should be mentioned that yesterday (Friday) Amir Khan Motaghi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, left for Pakistan on the way of a political and business delegation.

Hafiz Zia Ahmed, Deputy Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has announced that the Afghan delegation will discuss political, commercial, regional security, and transit issues with Pakistani officials during this trip.
