Taliban arrested 8 people in connection with drug trafficking

The Ministry of Interior Affairs of the Taliban has announced that the anti-narcotics police of this group have arrested 8 people from different provinces in connection with the sale and trafficking of drugs.

The anti-narcotics police arrested three persons in connection with the smuggling of 32 and 7 kilograms of glass-type drugs from Laghman province, four persons in connection with the sale of alcoholic beverages and tablets from Kabul, and another person in connection with the sale of drugs from Baghlan has been arrested.

The ministry added that the anti-narcotics police also destroyed a heroin factory in Keshm district of Badakhshan province.
