Turkmenistan sent more than 120 tons of aid to the people of Afghanistan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan has announced that this country has sent more than 120 tons of humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan.

The ministry said that the exact amount of these aids is 125 tons and includes medicines and medical supplies, food and textile products.

According to the announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, in the framework of this humanitarian action, a group of medical workers of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of this country have been sent to provide medical assistance and counseling to the maternity hospital built by Turkmenistan in 2016 in Turgandi village of Herat province.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan added that this humanitarian action, based on the traditions and humanitarian principles of the Turkmen people, is the continuation of the continuous activities of the Turkmen government to support Afghanistan for many years.
