More than 60 Afghan citizens were released from Pakistani prisons

Hafiz Zia Ahmad, deputy spokesperson of the Taliban, says that more than 60 Afghan citizens who were imprisoned in Pakistan’s Sindh province have been released and returned to the country.

He wrote in a tweet that with the efforts of the Afghan embassy in Islamabad and the country’s consulate in Karachi, 66 Afghans who were imprisoned in Pakistan’s Sindh province have been released.

According to him, a total of 2,342 Afghan citizens have been released from Pakistani prisons and returned to the country with the efforts of the Islamic Emirate.
