China gave financial aid to the people of Afghanistan

The World Food Program has announced that China has provided financial assistance to the Afghan people with this organization.

In a statement, this organization appreciated China’s aid to the people of Afghanistan and said that this financial aid enables the World Food Program to provide life-saving food to nearly 70,000 people who are affected by food insecurity.

WFP added that earlier this year, due to lack of funds, it was forced to reduce the size of its aid to all families in Afghanistan.

According to this organization, with the aid provided by China, it plans to buy nearly 1,500 tons of wheat flour, 185 tons of yellow peas, more than 130 tons of vegetable oil, and 15 million tons of salt.
