After an explosion in Badakhshan, the deputy governor of this province was killed

Local officials in Badakhshan say that two people, including the head of the province, were killed following an explosion in the center of the province.

Moazuddin Ahmadi, head of information and culture of Badakhshan, says that the explosion took place this morning (Tuesday) at the intersection of the court in Faizabad city, the capital of this province.

According to him, in this attack, the car carrying Maulvi Nisar Ahmad Ahmadi, acting official of Badakhshan province, was targeted and as a result, he and another person was killed.

The head of information and culture of Badakhshan adds that as a result of this incident, 5 other people were injured and taken to the hospital.

Local officials of Badakhshan province say that this incident is under investigation.
