Two female soldiers were killed in an attack on an army vehicle in Balkh

Security sources in Balkh province say unidentified gunmen opened fire on an army vehicle, killing two female soldiers and wounding three others.

According to them, the car carrying the women was attacked while on duty in the fifth security district of Mazar-e-Sharif.

In this incident, three people, including the driver of the car, were injured and the driver’s condition was reported to be critical.
