Zabihullah Mujahid called the US State Department’s report on human trafficking in Afghanistan propaganda

Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson of the Taliban, called the report of the US Department of State regarding human trafficking in Afghanistan unnecessary.

He wrote in a tweet that the propaganda of Western countries regarding human trafficking in Afghanistan is unnecessary and the Islamic Emirate does not allow human trafficking to take place in this country.

The spokesperson of the Taliban stressed that human trafficking is done outside the borders of Afghanistan and it is not the responsibility of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to prevent it, adding that whoever is caught for the crime of human trafficking inside Afghanistan will be punished.

The US State Department released its annual Human Trafficking Report on Friday, according to which 11 countries, including Afghanistan, are on the list of countries whose governments follow a pattern or policy of human trafficking.

In addition to Afghanistan, the names of Iran, Syria, China, Russia, Burma, Eritrea, North Korea, Turkmenistan, Cuba, and South Sudan can also be seen in this report.
