The Afghan Embassy in Italy has announced the death of a number of Afghan citizens after the sinking of the refugee ship in Greek waters.

The embassy said that a number of Afghan citizens also died after the sinking of a ship carrying refugees in Greek waters, but the embassy did not say anything about the number of Afghans who died in this incident.

The ship carrying the refugees that sank in Greek waters was carrying 700 passengers, among them Palestinian, Pakistani, Egyptian and Syrian citizens.
