Ucha announced Iceland’s $40 million donation to Afghanistan’s humanitarian fund

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Afghanistan says that Iceland has contributed 40 million dollars to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund.

In a tweet, Ucha announced Iceland’s $40 million donation to Afghanistan’s humanitarian fund and said that this donation will save needy lives in this country.

Ucha appreciated Iceland’s aid to Afghanistan and added that this country has contributed 135 million dollars to Afghanistan since 2020.

Earlier, the United Nations announced that thousands of people in Afghanistan are in need of urgent humanitarian aid.
