The World Food Program removed 8 million tons from its aid list in Afghanistan

The World Food Program has announced that due to the lack of funds in Afghanistan, it cannot provide food aid to eight million people in this country.

This organization wrote in a tweet that it currently provides food and non-food aid to 5 million tons per month, and due to the lack of funds, the aid process is progressing slowly.

The World Food Program added that it needs more than one billion dollars to continue the process of providing aid in the winter.

The World Food Program had previously said that Afghanistan is facing a hunger crisis and if the international community does not support this country in a sustainable way, the number of people in need of aid will increase in this country.
