UNHCR distributed cash aid to more than one million Afghans in Pakistan

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has announced the distribution of cash aid to more than one million registered Afghan refugees in Pakistan.
The organization said in its report that these aids were distributed to immigrants who were in a bad economic situation after the devastating flood last year.
In the continuation of this report, it is stated in that the total cash aid for Afghan refugees reaches 17.8 million dollars.
According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Pakistan, by the end of 2022, the country has hosted 1.3 million registered asylum seekers and 427 others with a similar status to refugees.
