OCHA: Due to the critical situation in Afghanistan, livelihood support is important

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs says that due to the crisis situation in Afghanistan, livelihood support is very necessary in this country.

OCHA wrote in a tweet that Afghanistan continues to experience climate and economic shocks, including drought, and considering that 80% of people depend on agriculture for food and income, and wheat production last season met only 40% of needs, livelihood support is very important.

It should be mentioned that Afghanistan has witnessed the occurrence of natural disasters in the past few years, which have resulted in loss of life and huge financial losses.
