Any dispute over a political agreement will be resolved through negotiation

In an interview, Fraıdoon Khozoon, spokesman for the National Reconciliation Council, told the media that any issue that makes it difficult to reach a political agreement will be resolved through negotiations.
The council expressed hope that in the second phase of the Afghan talks on the disputed issues, an agreement would be reached as soon as possible to establish peace and stability in the country.
On the other hand, Mr. Khozon said that an international group is monitoring the peace talks, of which the United Nations is a part.
Also Zalmai Khalilzad; US Special Representative for the Peace Process in Afghanistan met with Mullah Baradar yesterday; the head of the Taliban’s political bureau and the head of the negotiating team met with the group.
Meanwhile, representatives of the government and the Taliban met on Sunday evening (17th January) to discuss the agenda of the talks.
