More than 2 thousand Afghan immigrants returned to the country from Iran

The Ministry of Refugee Affairs has announced the return of more than 2,000 Afghan refugees from Iran to the country.

The ministry wrote in a tweet that 2,544 Afghan refugees returned to the country from Iran on Sunday.

According to the Ministry of Migration Affairs, 939 of the returnees were introduced to the office of the International Organization for Migration and received food and non-food aid.

It should be noted that the return of Afghan immigrants from neighboring countries to Afghanistan has increased over the past few months.
