A traffic incident in Nangarhar took the life of a child

Local officials in Nangarhar say that a traffic accident in this province has resulted in the death of a child.

Abdulbasir Zabuli, the spokesperson of the Nangarhar Police Command, says that a Mazda car ran over a young child yesterday (Wednesday) in Khorram village of Kuzkanar district of this province.

According to him, as a result of this incident, a young child died and the driver of the car also escaped from the area.

The spokesperson of Nangarhar Police Command adds that efforts are underway to arrest the driver of the car.

It should be noted that the occurrence of traffic incidents in the country has increased in the last few months.
