Uzbek products and handicrafts market opened in Balkh

Uzbekistan handicrafts market opens in Balkh on Sunday (17th January) to sell handicrafts and products

Uzbekistan’s Consul General in Balkh, Jafar Fatayov, who attended the opening ceremony, said similar markets wıll open in other provinces in the near future.

The Department of Industry and Trade also praised the move, calling for expanding relations between the two countries and other countries

Last Thursday, the Aqgina-Andkhoy railway project, Turkmenistan-Sheberghan electricity and fiber-optic projects between Afghanistan and Turkmenistan were inaugurated with the virtual presence of the two countries’ leaders.

Economic relations between Afghanistan and neighboring countries such as Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan have increased in recent years.
