The Ministry of Energy and Water signed a memorandum of understanding with SKM

The Ministry of Energy and Water has announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding on bilateral cooperation on investment for electricity production with SKM.

The ministry wrote in a tweet that Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour, Acting Minister of Water and Energy, signed a memorandum of understanding on bilateral cooperation regarding investment in the production, transmission and distribution of electricity from various sources with Dr. Abbas Rasulzadeh Farsad, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SKM Company.

Acting Minister of Water and Energy while signing this memorandum while welcoming the mentioned company’s interest in investing in water and energy projects in Afghanistan, has assured them of the cooperation of the Ministry in order to provide investment opportunities.

The officials of the mentioned company have also announced their readiness to invest in various projects, especially in the implementation of water and energy projects in 34 provinces of Afghanistan.
