The deputy ambassador of Iran met with the deputy interior minister of the Taliban

The Iranian embassy in Kabul has announced that Seyed Hassan Mortazavi, the deputy of this embassy, met with the deputy interior minister of the Taliban.

The announcement of the embassy states that in this meeting, the two sides discussed the latest situation of poppy cultivation, buying and selling, as well as the development of bilateral cooperation.

The Iranian Embassy added that in this meeting, discussions were held in the field of combating drug production, smuggling and consumption and helping rehabilitation centers.
