The Minister of Industry and Trade of the Taliban met with the Uzbek delegation

Nuruddin Azizi, Acting Minister of Industry and Trade of the Islamic Emirate, met with the Uzbek delegation.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade wrote in a tweet that Nouruddin Azizi, the head of this ministry, met with the delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Mr. Nazem Jan Khalmeradov, the first deputy of the Ministry of Trade of that country.

The ministry added that in this meeting, the two sides talked about strengthening investment in Afghanistan, reducing transit fees, and providing transit facilities between Afghanistan, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and Uzbekistan.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in this meeting, the increase of customs activities up to 24 hours and the implementation of bilateral, tripartite and multilateral agreements were also discussed.
