The asylum request of 50,000 Afghan citizens was rejected by the Australian government

The Australian government has announced the rejection of the asylum applications of 50,000 Afghan citizens who applied after the fall of the former Afghan government.
SBS Dari reported that since the fall of the previous Afghan government, about 208,000 Afghan citizens have applied for Australian humanitarian visas, of which more than 50,000 have been rejected, and the applications of about 144,000 people are still pending.
The report states that members of the Afghan community in Australia and former colleagues of the Australian forces in Afghanistan have expressed concern about the high rate of rejection of humanitarian visa applications of their relatives and countrymen and have demanded the cancellation of these decisions.
